Mule Day is an annual tradition and celebration of all things "mule-related", held in the “Mule Capital” of the world and home of Square West Arts Loft, Columbia, Tennessee. Begun more than 170 years ago in the 1840s, it was originally called “Breeder’s Day”, a meeting for mule breeders. it now attracts over 200,000 people and takes place over four days. This year, we're adding an event that will hopefully become another Mule Day tradition - The Riqué Collection Trunk Show and Sale!
A two time Posi Award Nominee, singer/songwriter Riqué has had pop and country songs recorded by artists including The Miracles and Sweethearts of the Rodeo. He has recorded with Emmylou Harris and his music was featured in the Lifetime Network series The Division. In addition, Riqué, who has designed and worked in both LA and Nashville, has designed clothes for some of the music industry's biggest stars, including The Judds and Emmylou Harris, and owns one of Nashville's premiere fashion boutiques - the Riqué Salon.
On April 6 & 7, 2018, Riqué will bring his LA Fashions, by way of his salon in Nashville, to Columbia, Tennessee and present a special Mule Day Trunk Show & Sale, featuring many of his clothing designs, jewelry, accessories, and handbags... some as much as 50% OFF! Mark your calendars and don't miss it - Friday, April 6th from 6pm-9pm, and Saturday, April 7th from 10am to 7pm.
