Are you a fan of The Moth Radio Hour on NPR, or just someone who loves to tell or listen to REAL and true stories in a LIVE setting? Then you are one of the multitudes of people who have discovered a love for live storytelling, perhaps the oldest spoken-word art form gaining new popularity thanks in large part to The Moth and other storytelling groups and events.
Square West Arts Loft, in partnership with Heirloom: Family Stories, is proud to bring this budding art form to Columbia, Tennessee. One Thursday per month, we will present Stories on the Square, a 90-minute event where people will share their stories in front of a live audience. The theme of our show this month is Second Chances.
If you have a story to tell that fits the theme, sign up using the form below to be added to our list of storytellers for the evening:
If you're not ready to TELL a story, come on out to HEAR some great tales... admission is FREE (donations are always appreciated). If your story doesn't fit the theme, sign up anyway! And if you know someone who you think would be a great storyteller, let them know or just bring them along.
